Every year, crop advisors of VKST carry out a considerable amount of field trials by testing new varieties, cultivation methods, fertilizers and crop protection products. Trial observations and results is an important basis for professional advice and keeps the advisory service up to date with the latest results based on actual facts. The results are published in a book entitled “Planteavlsberetning VKST” at the end of each year.  

Together with VKST, VKST Field Trials carries out approximately 80 private field trials each year.
